Project Challenge and prize!
Have you ever read any of the Sommerset Magazines? I always keep up with the Artful Blogging Series. While I don't claim to have a blog to compare, it does keep me inspired.
There is always a challenge of sorts to do some kind of project and send in your pictures. I recently took a vintage hat, took it apart and altered vintage bottles with the ingredients from the hat. Above and below are pictures of my project. What fun I had! The only item not from the hat is the silver "frame" that was the resting spot for a lost pair of salt and pepper shakers.

I wish I had thought to take a picture of the hat before I started... the best laid plans!
So here's the challenge. Send me a picture of the hat you're using and then the final product.

Bonjour, Angie! Oh, how can anyone ever forget you and your gorgeous shoppe in Door County?!!! My sister, Mary Ann, my lil' gal Shioban + me were simply smitten with your cottage and all of your magnificent rooms filled to the brim with sweetness!!! Infact, somewhere amongst my picture cds are pictures of your beautiful shoppe! I apologize profusely for not posting those pics...Life got in the way and I haven't had the chance to post them...but one of these days, I promise I will show off your spectacular shoppe! In the meantime, I will make sure to write a post on my blog and spread the news about your unique 'Project Challenge and PRIZE' event and get the word out about you, your shoppe and your challenge+prize...I already know of some special people that would probably LOVE to join in and create something fantastic!

There are so many fun projects that I wish I could participate in (including this challenge of yours), but I am sooo swamped over the next month that I can't possibly take another thing on). But next time!
